Fun Times are Approaching!

Last week and this next upcoming week is going to be so crazy and exciting. The time is coming to look for mentors and conduct research interviews. While I am excited to finally meet professionals who are corporate lawyers, I am also a little bit nervous and overwhelmed about the process. I have reached out to a few people, and so far I got nothing. I'm not surprised because lawyers are crazy busy helping their clients, I am just hoping and really excited to meet people! The really good news about this is that my father has a corporate lawyer at his office, and he let me reach out to their litigator to see if some of his colleagues were willing to meet with me. Luckily, he responded that he would love to help, so I am really excited to continue to chat with him, and very soon, I should have my research interviews soon, and can possibly have my mentor!! This whole process that I am about to endure is so so exciting, but also so nerve racking. I am a very anxious person and I want to do well during this journey, so sometimes my nerves can get the best of me. I am hoping that this process will really help me grow more confident on things that I am passionate about. Law is something that makes so happy and giddy, and I am just very very excited to get everything started!
