Independent Study and Mentorship is an advanced course specifically designed for diligent juniors and seniors in Frisco ISD. Once selected in the course, students get the opportunity to pick a career field and find a mentor to further their knowledge about the career. This class will enable students to work on every aspect of their professional lives and allows them to learn new traits such as in-depth research, public speaking, and finding and interviewing professionals to be their selected mentor. Once the student finds a mentor and conducts all of the necessary research, they will present their findings as one final presentation.
