Back in the heat of things

It has been a very easy start to the week. I am starting to get very deep into my original work and I am really excited about it. I have been doing more research and I am discovering how much students really appreciate the electives that they have access to. Since I want to create an elective class that can be taken, it is really amazing to see how many students would benefit from electives that help them with their career pathways. I am about to start researching how to actually make a curriculum for an elective class because I have no idea how that happens. I know there are certain rules and requirements that go into curriculums, I am just curious how long curriculums or units are and how they need to be created in order to best help the student. based on knowing the basic classroom structure, there are multiple units and each unit touches on a specific topic. Within that unit, there are also some worksheets, tests, and quizzes, and maybe even a few projects. The biggest challenge I am going to have with this is time management!! To get everything done for this project I am going to have to allot a majority of my time towards my final product, but I am sure I can do it. No one said it was going to be easy!!
