At Full Throttle

It has been very busy on the ISM front lately. Last Friday, I had my first mentor visit and it went amazing. I told my mentor about my final product proposal and the ideas that I had for it. Not only did she like my idea, but she also gave me some more topics to research and to potentially include in my final product. At first, I was nervous about her thoughts about my idea, but she embraced it and even taught me some quick topics and tips about corporate law called redlining and told me a little bit more about corporate litigation. Since my final product proposal is about an elective course being taken about corporate law, she thought that including litigation may help make things more exciting during the class. I couldn't have agreed more and now I am starting to look into litigation and redlining. My next mentor visit on Thursday and I am excited to see what we talk about next! The scary part about my upcoming week is that I have to give my Original Work Speech tomorrow and I am a little nervous. I normally don't get that worked up about speeches, but for some reason, I am more nervous than usual. I plan on using tonight to prepare more for it so I should be good by tomorrow and I don't think I should have anything to worry about. Wish me luck!!
